Creator Terms

Creator Program Terms

Effective: 2026-02-20

Who we are

MDPoster is operated by To be honest I don't know LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, 8 The Green, Suite R, Dover, DE 19901 (Registered Agent: Resident Agents Inc.). These Creator Program Terms ("Creator Terms") govern your participation in the MDPoster Creator Program and supplement the general Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict, these Creator Terms prevail for matters related to the Creator Program.

Definitions

"Creator" means a user who has been accepted into the MDPoster Creator Program. "Template" means a poster layout, prompt configuration, style definition, or other design asset created by a Creator and made available through the Service. "End User" means any user of the Service who generates a poster or places an order using a Template. "Revenue Share" means the portion of revenue attributable to a Creator's Templates as described in these Creator Terms.

Eligibility and approval

To participate in the Creator Program you must (a) be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, (b) hold a valid MDPoster account in good standing, and (c) submit an application that is approved by MDPoster at its sole discretion. MDPoster may accept, reject, or revoke applications at any time without obligation to provide a reason.

Creator obligations

As a Creator you agree to: (a) provide accurate and complete profile information; (b) create Templates that comply with all applicable laws, the MDPoster Terms of Service, and these Creator Terms; (c) respond in good faith to any inquiries from MDPoster regarding your Templates or account; and (d) not engage in any conduct that damages the reputation or interests of MDPoster, its users, or the Creator Program.

Content guidelines

Templates must not contain, depict, or promote: (a) illegal activity; (b) hate speech, harassment, or discrimination; (c) sexually explicit or obscene material; (d) violence or graphic content; (e) content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party; or (f) misleading or deceptive content. MDPoster reserves the right to remove any Template that violates these guidelines or is otherwise objectionable, without prior notice.

License grant

By submitting a Template to the Service, you grant MDPoster a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, display, reproduce, modify, distribute, and create derivative works of the Template for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. This license survives termination of your participation solely with respect to Templates already in use by End Users or incorporated into existing orders.

Earning rates

Creators earn money when End Users interact with their Templates. The current earning rates are:

  • $0.05 USD per poster generation — earned each time a subscribed End User generates a poster using your Template. Generations by non-subscribed users (e.g., those using free or bonus credits) do not generate Creator earnings because no subscription revenue is associated with those generations.
  • $1.00 USD per print order — earned each time an End User places a physical print order for a poster created from your Template, regardless of the End User's subscription status.

Earnings are recorded after the generation or order is confirmed successful. MDPoster reserves the right to adjust earning rates at any time with at least 14 days' notice to active Creators. Rate changes apply only to future activity and do not affect previously accrued earnings.

Stripe Connect and payment terms

To receive payouts, you must connect a valid Stripe Express account through the MDPoster Creator dashboard. Stripe handles identity verification, tax information collection, and bank account details on your behalf. MDPoster does not store your banking information directly.

Earnings are calculated on a monthly basis. Payouts are reviewed and approved by the MDPoster team at their discretion. There is no automatic or guaranteed payout schedule; MDPoster will process payouts when it determines that conditions are met, which may include but is not limited to: verification of legitimate usage patterns, confirmation that your Stripe Connect account is in good standing, and satisfactory review of your Templates and account activity.

If your Stripe Connect account is not connected, incomplete, or restricted, your earnings will accrue but payouts cannot be processed until the account issue is resolved. You are solely responsible for maintaining your Stripe Connect account and for any taxes, fees, or obligations arising from payments received.

Prohibited conduct and earnings forfeiture

The following conduct is prohibited and may result in forfeiture of accrued earnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the Creator Program:

  • Self-generation or artificial inflation — using your own accounts or coordinating with others to generate posters from your Templates for the purpose of inflating earnings.
  • Spam or low-quality Templates — submitting large volumes of trivially different or low-effort Templates designed to dominate the marketplace rather than provide genuine value to End Users.
  • Sensitive, offensive, or harmful prompts — creating Templates with prompts that produce sexually explicit, violent, discriminatory, defamatory, or otherwise harmful content, even if the prompt text itself appears innocuous.
  • Deceptive or misleading Templates — Templates that misrepresent their output, impersonate real individuals without authorization, or mislead End Users about what the Template produces.
  • Circumventing platform controls — attempting to bypass content moderation, exploit system vulnerabilities, or manipulate earning calculations through technical or social means.

Right to withhold and claw back

MDPoster reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to: (a) withhold any pending payout while it investigates suspected violations; (b) forfeit some or all accrued but unpaid earnings if it determines, in its reasonable judgment, that the earnings were generated through prohibited conduct or in violation of these Creator Terms; (c) claw back previously paid amounts if it later discovers that the underlying activity violated these Creator Terms; and (d) offset any amounts owed by you against future earnings or payouts.

MDPoster will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any withholding or forfeiture decision and the basis for it. However, MDPoster is not required to provide detailed evidence or to submit its decision to any external review. The determination of what constitutes a violation is at MDPoster's sole discretion.

Intellectual property ownership

You retain ownership of the original creative elements of your Templates, subject to the license granted above. MDPoster retains all rights in the Service, platform, tools, AI models, branding, and any modifications or derivative works created by MDPoster. Nothing in these Creator Terms transfers ownership of either party's pre-existing intellectual property.

Content removal

You may request removal of your Templates at any time by deactivating them through the template editor. MDPoster will remove deactivated Templates from public availability within a reasonable time, but Templates already used in pending or completed orders may continue to be used to fulfill those orders. MDPoster may also remove Templates at its discretion for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Creator Terms.

Suspension and termination

MDPoster may suspend or terminate your participation in the Creator Program at any time, with or without cause, by providing notice via email or in-app notification. Upon suspension, your Templates will be removed from public availability and your creator profile will be deactivated. Upon termination without cause, any unpaid earnings that have been earned and confirmed will be paid according to the regular payment schedule, subject to MDPoster's standard review process. Upon termination for cause (including violation of these Creator Terms), MDPoster may forfeit some or all unpaid earnings as described in the "Right to withhold and claw back" section above. You may voluntarily withdraw from the Creator Program at any time by contacting support@mdposter.com.

Representations and warranties

You represent and warrant that: (a) you have full authority to enter into these Creator Terms; (b) your Templates are original works or you have obtained all necessary rights and licenses; (c) your Templates do not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party; and (d) you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MDPoster, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to your Templates, your breach of these Creator Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Disclaimers

The Creator Program is provided "as is" and "as available." MDPoster makes no warranties regarding the number of End Users who will use your Templates, the revenue you will earn, or the continued availability of the Creator Program. MDPoster is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Creator Program.

Changes to these terms

MDPoster may modify these Creator Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued participation in the Creator Program after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you may withdraw from the Creator Program.

Governing law

These Creator Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising under these Creator Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction. Where required by law, you may have the right to bring claims in your local courts.
